Active shooter incidents are often unpredictable and evolve quickly. During the chaos, anyone can play an integral role in mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident.
- According to MSNBC and the Gun Violence Archive (GVA), which tracks incidents of gun violence across the country, GVA altogether recorded 630 mass shootings in which at least four people were shot (killed or injured, excluding the shooter) in 2023.
- According to ABC News, there have been more than 50 mass shooting in 2024 so far, which is also defined by GVA.

Meet the Active Shooter Course Instructor:
Mr. Greg Etheridge is certified as a North Carolina, and National Rifle Association firearms instructor. He is a trained instructor in the fundamentals, and advance techniques of gun safety, operations, marksmanship, in home and outside the home defense and protection. Mr. Etheridge is no stranger to serving communities and their citizens, starting with his nine year's of service in the US Air force. He later continued his service as a law enforcement officer, working with the Fulton County ( Atlanta GA.) Corrections department. He also served as a Fulton County Fire Fighter, and emergency medical tech for many years.
Greg's focus his entire adult life has been one of service. With a tremendous desire and commitment to assist people, and help insure their well being, he continues that focus with training courses designed to offer knowledge, techniques, understanding, and methods designed to prepare and help individuals recognize and respond with effective and safe methods in times of uncertainty and crisis.
