TAA Tees Off “Fore” Charity

The Basics

• Who: This event is for all TAA Members. If your company is a member, you are a member!
• What: A virtual golf event. You mean on my computer? NO! It is similar to a virtual race, only with a team of four golfers. You'll play real golf, on a real course, at a time that fits your schedule, and we'll share all the fun on social media, virtually.
• When: You choose! Anytime between September 28 and October 30, 2020.
• Where: You choose! Any golf course in North Carolina.
• Why: Our goal is to provide an opportunity for members who would like a face to face interaction while also raising money to give back to our community. And, this way, there are no conflicts for weather, date, time, or location. (Or, event capacity restrictions!)

Two Ways to Play

1. Sponsor a team

   • Donate a minimum of $100 for a four-person team to the Resident Relief Foundation.
   • Forward your donation confirmation email to vfranciosi@triangleaptassn.org for your FREE team registration! Make sure to include your Golfer Registration Form with team member names and t-shirt sizes.
   • Schedule your golf tee time and pay for you and your team.

2. Form your own team

   1. Find three industry friends who want to play golf with you.
   2. Each person donates a minimum of $25 to the Resident Relief Foundation.
   3. Let us know when you've each made your donations by forwarding your donation confirmation email to Vicki Franciosi at vfranciosi@triangleaptassn.org for your FREE team registration! Make sure to include your Golfer Registration Form with team member names and t-shirt sizes.
   4. Schedule your golf tee time and pay for you and your team.

Prizes & Giveaways

Free T-Shirt

Golfers: Register and complete your donation (minimum of $25 per golfer) by October 30 to guarantee your golf event t-shirt. You have until October 30 to play. One t-shirt per person. Email your donation confirmation and your golf registration form to Vicki Franciosi at vfranciosi@triangleaptassn.org. T-Shirts will be available for a drive-thru pick up in November. Pick-Up details will be emailed at a later date.

Non-Golfers: Any TAA member who makes a donation, of $25 or more, between September 28 – October 26 is eligible to receive a free golf event t-shirt, while supplies last. To request a t-shirt, email your donation confirmation to Vicki Franciosi at vfranciosi@triangleaptassn.org along with your t-shirt size. T-Shirts will be available for a drive-thru pick up in November. Pick-Up details will be emailed at a later date.

Prizes

Golfers: Every time you play, each golfer will be entered into a drawing for prizes, compliments of the TAA 2020 Business Partners. The drawings will be held after the event has ended.

FAQ

Can we play multiple times or have multiple teams?

Yes! You are able to participate as many times as you like with teams of four. Just make sure that you register and donate for each team/time.

How is the game scored?

You choose the format. Scores will not be collected. This is strictly for fun and networking.

How can we show off our fun in the sun?

Please send TAA photos and videos of you and your team to taa@triangleaptassn.org. We will be posting photos and videos throughout the event to recognize our participants.
