2020 has certainly not been the year we expected! All of us have had to pivot and navigate this new global pandemic reality.
Like you, the Association has been working since March to assess the environment, climate, CDC guidelines, the stay at home and safer at home executive orders – all in an attempt to know how to proceed. We also collected member feedback from a survey and numerous conversations to assist us in our decision making.
We are now excited to share our Path Forward for Events in 2020! Please mark your calendars and watch for details coming soon about each of these new opportunities.
For those who are registered for the TAA In-Person Trade Show, both Exhibitors and Attendees, we will be in touch soon with specific instructions.
TAA Tees Off “Fore” Charity
September 28 – October 30
- A virtual golf event, this is like a virtual race – only with a team of four golfers. You play real golf, on a real course, at a date/time that fits your schedule.
- Sponsor a team or form your own team.
- Donate a minimum of $25 per player ($100 per team) to the Resident Relief Foundation, forward your donation confirmation email for your FREE team registration.
- Participate as many times as you like, with teams of four. Just make sure that you register and donate each time.
- Golfers will receive an Event T-Shirt and be eligible for prizes.
- Not a golfer? You can still donate to the Resident Relief Foundation and be eligible for an Event T-Shirt.

October 22
- Join us for an evening of fun.
- Cary Town Center Parking Lot, 5:30pm – 9:00pm
- Film to be announced soon. It will be family friendly.
- Registration will be by the car – so you can bring yourself, a colleague and/or friends/family.
- Food trucks will be available, and each car will receive a Goody Bag with movie theater type snacks.
- Watch the movie from your vehicle.
TAA Plugged In: Create the Connection
November 2 – November 20
- Virtual Marketplace
- For our Exhibitors:
- You will showcase your products & services, provide a video if you like, chat with owner/operators, and can sponsor a contest/giveaway if you choose
- For our Owner/Operator Attendees:
- You will be able to interact with the Exhibitors, learn about their products and services, watch videos, request additional information, and register to win prizes
- Choose the times that work best for you and plan to visit every booth – you have 3 weeks to do so
- For our Exhibitors:
- Virtual Power Hours (Educational Seminars), Networking and Brain Breaks
- All offerings will be included in the registration fee
- All offerings will be included in the registration fee
- Owner/Operators – We will be giving away a number of Grand Prizes ($500 VISA Gift Cards) as part of our Strategic and Premier Business Partner Booth Visitation Contest. $3,000 in prizes will be awarded.
