Notice of Funding Availability in Raleigh: Small-Scale Rental Project
Small Scale Rental Development NOFA
The City of Raleigh’s Housing & Neighborhoods Department announces the availability of $2 million in 2020 Affordable Housing Bond funds for the new construction of affordable rental housing on city-owned building sites, made available through long-term ground leases.
Missing-middle housing types such as duplexes and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) are encouraged and allowed by right on a majority of the lots by the underlying zoning. At least one-third of the housing units built must serve households at extremely low-income levels (<30 percent AMI).
Eligible developers are invited to submit proposals by the January 27, 2023, deadline.
Please see the Notice of Funding Availability document for further detail.
