The AANC Leadership Lyceum is a series of programming aimed at identifying, training, and empowering emerging leaders within AANC.
PROGRAM CURRICULUM & CONTENT
Session 1 – January 2022
- January 25, 2022 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM l Drucker + Falk Headquarters in Raleigh, NC
- Morning Session: Association Management & Leadership l Presented By: Jon Lowder Panelists: Jonathan Elliot, Kelli Lea, Kelly Noble, Deidre Wilson
Session 2 – March 2022
- March 16, 2022 | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM l Live Webinar
- Session: Legislative Advocacy l Presented By: Janae Moore & Bo Heath
- Additional Information: Meet with local association Government Affairs representative.(Information and objectives will be shared with program participants.)
Session 3 – May 2022
- May 16, 2022| 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM l Raleigh Convention Center, Raleigh, NC
- Morning Session: Leading with IMPACT l Presented By: Dr. Debbie Phillips
- Afternoon: Lunch with AANC Leadership, Observe AANC Committee Town Hall & AANC Board Meeting
Graduation (5/17/22) & AANC Lobby Day Participation (5/18/22)
- Both take place at the AANC Education & Legislative Conference in Raleigh, NC.
CRITERIA & QUALIFICATIONS
- Maximum of 14 participants per year (must be a current member)
- Nominators: AANC Local Affiliates, AANC President & AANC State Suppliers Council
- Participants should be actively involved with their local association and have served at least 2 years on a committee
- Participants should not currently be or previously have served on the AANC Board of Directors
