A Message to Our Members about COVID-19
Like you, TAA is concerned about the occurrence of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). First and foremost, the health and safety of our staff, membership and community is paramount. Our goal is to continue monitoring and assessing the ever-evolving pandemic and respond in a proactive manner. We understand the concern that many of you may have about the spread of COVID-19 and the impact on your attendance at upcoming classes, events and meetings.
Beginning March 16, all in-person TAA classes and events through March 31 will be postponed or cancelled. When possible, we will host a conference call or virtual meeting and when not possible, we will postpone and reschedule. For those of you who are directly affected by these changes, you will be contacted when additional details become available. If you have paid for a ticket to a class or event, please rest assured that your ticket will be valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend after we have announced a new date, please contact us based on the instructions you will receive as a registered participant.
As of now, no final decision has been made about the 2020 Trade Show, scheduled for April 29. Our hope is to reschedule the show for later in the year. That said, we are currently working on what options are available and will notify the membership as soon as a decision has been reached.
Please keep in mind that your TAA experience may look different as we navigate through this time together and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
While we are working to maintain business as usual, for the reasons noted in this communication, the TAA Staff will be working remotely from March 16 – March 31. During this time, staff will be available to respond to member communications.
We have created a webpage with coronavirus resources relevant to our industry and your needs. Please check back frequently for updates.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you, our members.
